The National Centre for Culture and Arts is back with its fourth consecutive intensive performing arts summer camp - based on the musical: TBA - it is a surprise!
Let your kids be part of the creative process of acting, singing, and dancing. Enjoy multiple classes of different types of performing arts culminating in a unique musical presentation.


Over this three week course, students will engage in more than 11 different activities that are tailored specifically to campers' ages and levels: hip-hop dance, fun-fitness, dabkeh, ballet, modern dance, African dance, drama, music, singing, martial arts, cooking and other weekly activities. Students are grouped by age and rotate from class to class every 50 minutes.

They all go through the process of creating and rehearsing, and share their voice, body and imagination in peaceful and powerful ways. Students work hard and are challenged to extend their physical and mental limits in a structured, positive manner that illustrate the benefits of dedication and perseverance. Students also benefit from the experience of working with a team of professional teaching artists, creating collectively and honing their abilities to represent themselves as artists.

At the end of the camp, they get the opportunity to apply these skills immediately in the preparation of a production at the NCCA theatre. Open to parents and friends at no charge, the culminating production provides a chance for the students to share what they have learned during the intense three weeks - every student is featured in a scene, a song and a dance.
