AFT 2121 Presidential Candidate Statement Form
RULES FOR SUBMITTING CANDIDATE STATEMENTS FOR THE AFT 2121 GENERAL ELECTION                                          

1)  Before you submit a candidate statement you must first be nominated as a candidate. Visit the AFT 2121 elections page to view candidate nomination forms and deadlines: www.aft2121.org/elections

2) Each candidate is entitled to a statement to be included in the sending of the ballots to the membership by electronic URL link. We will also post them at the AFT 2121 website in the Elections section (https://www.aft2121.org/elections/).

3) Due date for candidate statements: Thursday, April 6, 2022, by 5:00 p.m.

4) Each statement is limited to 1000 characters except for presidential candidates, for whom 1500 characters are allowed.

5) Candidates are allowed to provide a link in their statement to a page containing more information.
