THANK YOU for your interest in joining Flaggots Ohio as a performer! We get many inquiries each year, and filling out this questionnaire is the easiest way for you to understand the commitment and prerequisites to joining our merry bunch of street artists.

We don't always have the resources to help everyone learn what they need to join, but we do what we can for those in special circumstances who can meet these basic requirements:

> All performing members must be 18 years old by the time of their first rehearsal with the ensemble. No exceptions will be made.
> All performing members must have the ability to rehearse and perform the show as written by the Creative team without remedial tutorials on colorguard equipment basic skills.
> All performing members must be available for 6-8 rehearsals each season in the months of April–May–early June. (The core season is usually* contained within the month of June and any additional performances are optional.)
> Preference for final ensemble size and number of open spots is solely at the discretion of the Director and Creative team. There is a sweet spot in group size on a parade route, beyond which a colorguard can simply become too large to stay together easily.
> Preference for final performer selections may be given first to those candidates whose schedules allow for participation in all the shows on the full season calendar. It is simply too time consuming for the Creative team to re-write or re-teach A/B parts or exchanges to members who must shift positions in the block to cover for missing members!
