General Policies & Rules of Participation:
The vendor fee is $100. The vendor fee for food trucks is $200. The application and space fee is non-refundable.
A 10 x 10 space will be provided. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own table, chairs, and tent.
Vendors are responsible for the security of their equipment and materials.
Food products must be only for on-site consumption.
Water and beverage sales are not permitted.
Vendors cannot cause noise which can be heard beyond the perimeters of their own exhibitor space. This noise includes but is not limited to music (recorded or live demonstrations) or motivational tapes. Hawking of items is prohibited.
Vendors may not share booth space nor may they sublet or apportion space to anyone else.
Vendors may only exhibit food in the category in which they applied.
All vendors MUST be present and have their booth open for business during all hours of the event.
Animals are NOT allowed.
Cartons or boxes must be kept out of view. Vendors are responsible for keeping booth space clean, safe & secure. Exhibits and materials contained within the assigned booth space and cannot be extended.
ELECTRICITY IS NOT PROVIDED. Quiet generators are permitted by petitioning the Vendor Committee for special permission, in advance. Power cords must be taped down.
The Roots Cultural Festival event organizers reserve the right not to accept any vendor for any reason.
Roots Committee members will circulate during the event to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
