Green Meadow Farms and Anaerobic Digester Presentation

The BAE department is covering the cost of van transportation and dinner* for the first 18 students to sign up. Please use this form to RSVP. Only sign up if you are 99% sure you can go.

Join us for a Family Friendly, Fun and Educational Evening.
Learn about a modern dairy and sustainable engineering when you join us at Green Meadow Farms. Tour an award winning and industry leading dairy farm with a special methane digester presentation featuring Dr. Dana Kirk from MSU Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering. The tour and presentation will be followed by a short business meeting and dinner. Then, on to the Tipper farm where Nick, Audrey and Linnea will host a bonfire, star gazing and two ASABE ¼ Scale tractors.

John Reynolds, caterer, will be supplying a selection of Wood-Fired, Brick-Oven Pizzas with Caesar Salad, cooked on site!

Itinerary:
3:15 pm - Meet at Farrall Hall and van pool
4:00 pm – Tour: Green Meadow Farms and Anaerobic Digester Presentation
