Our next hiking trip this semester will be to the Velký Javorník mountain. On the top of the mountain there is a cottage and a tall wooden lookout tower. At the cottage you can have lunch and a good Czech beer.
❗️For a pleasant experience, we strongly recommend bringing proper outdoor shoes (ideally waterproof). The difficulty of the trip is medium (in total approx. 16 km horizontally and 820 m vertically).
We will meet at the Ostrava-Svinov train station. If you are coming from dormitories in Ostrava-Poruba, just take the bus 37 from “Studentská” stop at 7:23 and you will arrive at the “Svinov, nádraží stop” at 7:37.
We will gather money for transportation by train from Ostrava to the mountain and back during the trip (no need to pay in the ESN office before this event). We are not responsible for your valid ticket on the public transport bus in Ostrava.
