#BikeWalkSLC walks, rides and get-together - May 21st

AT 3:15 P.M. ON Saturday afternoon, May 21st, we’re partnering up with local groups to co-host bike tours and walking tours in different parts of the city.

Details are still being confirmed but we will host one bike and one walking tour on each side of town – West and East.

Afterward, we’re gathering at Blue Gene’s (500 East and Broadway) to drink, be merry, and connect with the people that want sweeter streets in SLC.

Plus while we’re there we’ll be giving away two Sweet Streets gift bags (shirts + other goodies).

This is a great way to learn more about your city and connect with folks that want to take action for a less-car-focused life AND city.

What tour are you interested in attending on Saturday, May 21st from 3:30pm - 4:30pm? *

Westside Walking Tour: Meet at 500 W. North Temple (the North Temple FrontRunner Station). Seven Canyons Trust will lead a walk along the Folsom Trail and lead conversations around action for our city's creeks and waterways.

Westside Biking Tour: Meet on the north side of Jordan Park by the dog park. We'll ride up 10th West through Poplar Grove and Fairpark, then catch the Jordan River Parkway back to the Fairpark TRAX station. See where the city is putting in new pedestrian infrastructure and where more work still needs to be done.

Eastside Walking Tour: The Utah Arts Council will lead a walking tour of murals in downtown.

Eastside Biking Tour: Meet at 198 E 500 South (southeast corner of City/County Building). We'll ride through Liberty Wells and Central City and into Downtown.
