The following agreement specifies what we feel is required to provide an appropriate home for a dog. The conditions set forth are based on our experience and a continuing commitment to see that our rescue dogs and puppies are well matched to a family/owner. If I am successful in the adoption of a dog through Tiegan's Place, I herein promise and agree to
the following conditions:

1. To keep this dog in my personal possession or the immediate family, provide proper and sufficient food, water, healthcare, shelter, grooming, and humane treatment at all times.

2. Not to sell, trade, transfer ownership, abandon, or dispose of this dog in any way. I agree to notify Tiegan's Place in case I can no longer care for this dog.

3. This dog will be cared for as member of the family and treated as such. I agree not to keep it outside as a yard dog, or isolated without human interaction or interaction with other home pets for extended periods of
time. I also agree not to have this dog tied up and unattended using any form of restraining apparatus.

4. To ensure the safety of the pet, I will never leave it outside unattended for long periods of time and will only
allow being alone in the yard where there is a secure fence so the dog can satisfy its urges or return inside
via a safe pet door.

5. This dog will not be transported in the open bed of a pick-up truck or similar vehicle without being enclosed
in a properly secured crate.

6. To procure any veterinary care at once if it becomes sick or injured and to keep current on all vaccinations.

7. To provide them with a current ID tag secured to a collar which will be worn at all times. In addition, it is
recommended that each dog be microchipped for permanent identification, if not already stated as
microchipped.

8. Tiegan's Place reserves the right to an ongoing review of this adoption and to follow-up on any
complaints or reports, including an examination of the dog and its living conditions, to protect welfare of the dog throughout its life. If the terms of this agreement are not satisfactorily upheld by the adopter(s), and/or any misrepresentations have been made in order to obtain this puppy/dog, Tiegan's Place reserves the right to terminate this agreement and demand the surrender of the said dog immediately.

9. I agree to hold Tiegan's Place, its staff and officers harmless from damages and/or bodily

injuries caused by the adopted pets. We go through great lengths to assure the dogs are well-observed for
behavior and are healthy; however, our exposure to the dogs is limited and we are not able to fully evaluate
and/or train each dog. Adopter(s) must consider ALL dogs as potentially damaging to property if left alone and aggressive when eating, or in vicinity of other pets/animals and/or people, until otherwise is proven. Tiegan's Place does not accept any responsibility and does not guarantee any dog being 100% healthy or not to be aggressive or damaging.
