1. YS Paleontology Course (6 yrs to 9 yrs )

Let’s take a journey down the Scientific History of Earth with the “YS History of Earth” workshop series. The series of the workshops will discuss topics on geology and palaeontology combined with interactive activities and simulations.

Includes series of YS workshops on :
1) Story of Earth: Clock of Eras
2) Earth and Volcanoes
3) Dinosaurs
4) Fossils

Eligibility: Class I to IV
Duration: 4 sessions, 6 hrs (Each session runs for 90 minutes)
Start Date : TBD(Tentatively)
Timings: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Course Fee: ₹1700/-

 2.YS Budding Scientist for 6-9 Years

We want to create a positive opinion about science in young children, inspire them to enjoy science, and rekindle their curiosity. Our workshop is specifically designed to achieve this, by introducing science in a fun and interactive manner. This is your chance to be a great parent and provide your child with the opportunities our school system is failing to do.

There will be experiments related to basic science topics such as force, surface tension, density, parts of a plant, human organs etc.

Eligibility: 6 to 9 years
Duration: 6 Sessions  (1 hr per session)
Start Date: TBD
Timings: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Course fee- ₹2500/-

3. YS Light & Sound online course

Light, the reason why we can see the world around us. It's time to take a more advanced study of the properties of light and optics- the physics of lenses and optical phenomenon. Sound can be defined in many ways. Understanding the sound and its science is really fascinating. This course is a combination of demonstrations and hands on experiments crafted for children to explore sound to the fullest.

A combination of demonstrations and hands-on experiments are devised for children to have a better understanding of light. Different lenses will be introduced and their unique properties studied. We will be using lasers to see how light is bent by refraction.

Eligibility: Class IV to VI
Duration- 8 sessions (1hr per session)

4.  YS Microbe-Food science course

This course is a brand new course introducing microbiology to the young explorers. This course will have a combination of microbiology and food science. The session enlightens the kids about the knowledge of little creatures who are more special and unique which cant be seen with our naked eyes.
This course is a DIY course and may come with the kit.

Eligibility- 7-11 yrs
Duration- 4 Sessions (1hr per session)
Start date- TBD
Timings - TBD
Course fee- ₹1700/-

Note:

Once sufficient registrations are received for each course/workshop, we will provide information on the payment process for it.

The schedule is tentative and depends on the majority preference of the registrants.

Classes will happen online using Zoom and Google Classrooms are used for the graded courses. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with the facilitator during the class.
