El Camino High School is offering in person summer school classes to incoming 9th graders.

Dates:  June 14 - July 22 for both sessions (Holiday:  Monday, July 4)
Classes Meet Tuesday - Friday,  8:30am - 12:30pm

Session 1:  June 14 - July 1
Session 2:  July 5 - July 22

Students who struggled in Math 8 during the 2021-2022 school year are invited to take Math Foundations II A and B to prepare for High School Math I in the fall. Students taking this class should take both semesters (both sessions) to be prepared to take Math I.

Students who are looking for enrichment and would like to earn credits prior to entering high school are invited to take a variety of electives.  The final determination of what electives will be taught will be determined based on student interest.  Possible electives:  Computer Applications, Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, Media Literacy, Multicultural Studies and College & Career Prep.

Courses for first-time credit for incoming 9th graders will be offered using the APEX learning platform.  Teachers will provide instruction for at least half of the block and provide support to students while working on their APEX classes.  Students may earn 5 credits per course/session.

Students will be expected to bring their school issued device to class each day.
