The Arts Atlantic Symposium is coming back to New Brunswick in 2024! We invite artists, arts collectives, curators, scholars, or arts professionals to submit proposals for presentations, performances, temporary installations, interventions, or workshops on the broad theme of CONVERGENCE.
Artistic encounters provide an exchange of ideas, a form of communication that lives at the heart of community. It is how we share (and transform) stories about ourselves and our society. The landscape is changing… but we’re still here. What models of creative collaboration can we explore together as we greet this different world? Where is the platform for critical discourse? How does virtual participation influence the performing arts? How will AI impact the arts industry and creativity at large?
These are some of the bold questions that will shape the 2024 Arts Atlantic Symposium, a three-day multi-disciplinary experience for anyone interested in the arts and their vital role in society. Join us in Oct. 2024 to engage with the breadth of artistic enterprise in Atlantic Canada.
