Cyprus Culture Summit: Music 2022 // Limassol, Cyprus // 8-11 December 2022

The Organization for European Programmes and Cultural Relations, in its capacity as the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus, organizes the Cyprus Culture Summit: Music 2022, as a parallel event of the 9th edition of the Cyprus Jazz & World Music Showcase, in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Rialto Theatre.

The Conference marks an important milestone in the roadmap towards establishing a platform for the Cypriot creators and advocates of music to build links, share ideas, and develop new ways of working with the international music sector. This highly interactive event will provide information and working sessions on issues related to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a blueprint for action, advocacy and partnership in the international music field. In this respect, the event will also host satellite sessions of the European Forum of Music (EFM) as well as sessions facilitated by European Music Council (EMC) and Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) members. It will also provide an opportunity to refine and communicate commitments of actions and pledges from key European and international stakeholders in the sector.
