UCSC BCycle Subsidized Membership
Due to overwhelming demand, subsidized memberships are sold out at this time. All new applications will be placed on a waiting list. In the meantime, BCycle memberships are available at full price in the BCycle app for $7 per single ride, $30 per month or $150 per year.

Use this form to determine your eligibility and indicate you would like a subsidized membership for BCycle.

Please note: Due to the nature of these subsidized memberships, we do require additional verification steps. Verifications will be processed within 5 business days. If you need to use a BCycle immediately, single rides are available in the BCycle app for $7.

To increase safety for all, we are requiring all who sign up for a subsidized membership to complete a safety course. This online course will take approximately 25-30 minutes and you will need to pass a quiz at the end in order to receive the payment link. Once your application is approved, you will receive a link to complete the safety course.

You will receive these follow-up emails:
  1. Confirmation email with your responses to this form
  2. Once you are verified and removed from the wait list you will receive a link to complete the E-bike Safety Course
  3. After completing your payment, confirmation and receipt for your payment (2 emails)
  4. Once your payment is completed, you will get another email with a promotional code to use in the BCycle app.
