The Emperor's New Clothes Missoula Children's Theatre Audition Registration
Hello, parents!

Thanks for supporting your child’s interest in Missoula Children’s Theatre!

Auditions are open to all area students in kindergarten through 8th grade who are able to attend evening rehearsals all week from November 18-22, and who can commit to three performances on November 22, including two during the day.

Participation in children's theatre is FREE, thanks to sponsors, Midwest Theater members, 4th String Fund donors, and grant funding.

Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Director. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play.With the amazing turn outs for auditions, we are dividing auditions by birth year to ensure more children get an opportunity to perform. Children born during an ODD year may audition for this fall production (The Emperor's New Clothes).

Please review this agreement form with your child and submit it to us.

Doors will open for auditions at 3:30 on Nov 18. Please check in with staff in the lobby no later than 3:50 p.m. to receive a sticker that will show you have registered.

I understand that my child will be attending the Missoula Children’s Theatre rehearsals and performances November 18-22, 2019.

Rehearsals can occur from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Performances are held on Friday 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Your student will need to miss school on Friday Nov 22nd  If this is an issue for you as a parent or your child can not miss any more school for this year,  please do not have your child try out.

We ask that you drop off and pick up your child at the back door of the Midwest Theater for all rehearsals and performances.

My agreeing indicates that I am allowing my child to participate in this theater project. By agreeing to this release form, I give permission to the Midwest Theater to use, reproduce, distribute copies to the public, and display publicly the image of my child, and the student’s name, biographical information, school, and grade for all purposes deemed appropriate by the Midwest Theater. The Midwest Theater may distribute the image through a variety of media, including but not limited to print, television, websites, or any other means.

As a cast/crew member of the Missoula Children’s Theatre I agree to obey the following rules:

• I will be respectful to directors, volunteers and my fellow cast members.
• I will keep up with my schoolwork.
• I will be on time for all rehearsals.
• I will memorize my lines and learn my staging.
• I will be respectful of Midwest Theater property.
• I will clean up after myself at the Midwest Theater.
• I will work to my fullest potential during rehearsals and productions.

If I fail to obey the rules listed above, I understand that I may be asked to leave the cast.
