Building Strong Futures, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to empowering local youth through a three-pronged enrichment program. This program consists of leadership training, a career workshop, and an annual college tour. We primarily serve teenagers in East Metro Atlanta, however, our reach spans across south east with participants from Texas and North Carolina as well. We are based in Newton county, Georgia, and we are a proud staple of the community.

To support our efforts, Building Strong Futures will host the 5th Annual Gala Fundraiser on October 9, 2021. Themed, "Coming to Building Strong Futures: A Royal Return," this Black-Tie event will entail an evening of dancing, fine dining all while looking your best as we honor community leaders and their contributions to society with limited guest capacity. We pride ourselves on building healthy relationships within the community and invite you to join us in support of our organization, our youth, and your nominees.

Mark your calendars for an amazing event you dare not miss. However, we do understand because we will be adhering to the social distancing guidelines that are in place.

B.S.F Award of Excellence- The B.S.F Award of Excellence showcases individuals, products, innovations, and organizations that Exemplifying excellence in serving others. Outstanding Community Service - developed to honor an individual who is making significant contributions to the community through their time, actions, talents, and dedication (outside any volunteer work done for their employer). The honoree selected should serve as a role model for compassion, and service and be striving to make the world a better place one day at a time. This individual should have a passion for helping others in the community. Persons nominated for this award have consistently demonstrated qualities of compassion, and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities in one year.

Educator of the Year Award: Creating Opportunities for our Future- Awarded to an educator who inspires creativity and enthusiasm in and out of the classroom. Educators who demonstrate exemplary teaching methods and style equipping future generations with the tools necessary to be successful. This award goes to an Individual who has had a significant impact on students, parents, and peers.

Essential Worker of the Year (Healthcare)- Due to the Covid-19 pandemic -This award is given to the individual who completes tasks essential to day-to-day operations in the medical industry. Whether this individual is on the front lines or behind the scenes, he/she is making sure that patients are highly satisfied with their service. “You may not always remember what was said, but you will always remember how he/she made you feel.”

Essential Worker of the Year (Non-Healthcare)- Due to the Covid-19 pandemic -This award is given to an individual who committed themselves to tasks essential to the day-to-day operations in any area outside of medical field. Whether this individual is on the front lines or behind the scenes, he/she is making sure that communities are highly satisfied with their overall efforts. “You may not always remember what was said, but you will always remember how quickly you received a product and/or service to meet the demands of the overall community.”

For the Team Award: Community Coach- Awarded to a coach considered to have best-demonstrated ability to improve the performance of an individual and team

Millennial of the Year Award: Making an Indelible IMPACT on society- Awarded to an individual between the ages of 21-35 who continues to make a positive impact in their community and in career field. The nominated individual has not only attained success in his or her career, but has also proven their steadfast commitment to the community.
