Call for Good Practices focused on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Resilience, Leadership, and Autonomy of Women and Girls in Disaster Risk Reduction in Latin America and the Caribbean - LAC Women’s Network for DRR

This form seeks to collect cases and experiences considered as "Good Practices" focused on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Resilience, Leadership and Autonomy of Women and Girls in Disaster Risk Reduction in Latin America and the Caribbean.

We invite all persons and representatives of community organizations, public and private sectors, civil society, academic and research centers, to participate in this call.

We understand the concept of "Best Practices" in a broad sense, based on the criteria of the proponent. These should be relevant and outstanding cases and experiences, in this case focused on Science, Technology and Innovation for Resilience, Leadership and Autonomy of Women and Girls in Disaster Risk Reduction in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is important to emphasize that when we speak of "Science" we include all sciences, including natural and social sciences, practiced in various fields, including citizen science.

Once the cases and experiences are received, we will analyze them and contact senders to learn more, with the subsequent purpose of carrying out mappings, publications, presentations in plenary sessions of our Network, and dissemination in other spaces and regional or global events.

The deadline for submitting proposals has been postponed until May 15, 2023. We encourage you to participate, and disseminate this call broadly.
