I understand that items collected that are used MUST be in excellent condition (ie. mattresses must have zero stains and must be near new, no broken or chipped furniture or kitchen items, pots and pans cannot have scratches on the Teflon surface.... ideally all items would be purchased new, and any used items would be in fantastic, hardly used shape). If everything is purchased new, the cost of sponsorship ranges from $1,500 to $3,500 per family (depending on the size of the family).

I understand that my group will have about 2 to 4 weeks to collect all items on the list. I also understand that our group is responsible for storing the items until the family's apartment has been repaired (target date: mid-September).

Additional information
Restoring Dignity will provide a paid interpreter for any interactions that you have with the family. Sponsors can visit our Community Donation Center and take any donations that would benefit the sponsored family. Sponsors are responsible for arranging transportation of items to the family's home. Sponsors may need to help the family build furniture (bunk beds, bed frames, etc).
