The Takeover - Cecil Sharp House's annual celebration of youth folk music and dance - has moved online and is being hosted by The Young Folk Club.
The Young Folk Club aims to give young people the opportunity to share and experience folk music in a friendly, social environment. Everyone aged 14–21, regardless of experience in folk music, is very welcome to come along!
On Saturday 3 July join our free online folk festival with special guest Hannah James (Lady Maisery, Jig Doll).
The festival starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4pm - there will be plenty of breaks and different activities throughout the day.

CODE OF CONDUCT
This is a youth event and will be supervised by members of EFDSS staff. We do not permit you to drink alcohol, take drugs or smoke during the event and we have a no swearing policy.
For all EFDSS events we expect participants to be kind and behave respectfully towards other young people and staff. Please do not interrupt others and only use the chat as requested by the host. Do not post any personal messages and please contact the host immediately if you have any concerns about someone's behaviour towards yourself or others.
