The CIVIC Scholars Program
ABOUT: In 2013 the CIVIC Leadership Institute and Old Dominion University collaborated to create the CIVIC Scholars Program. The program runs through the academic year, September to late April, and its curriculum includes regional education programming sessions, community service experiences, professional events, and mentor connections.

The Scholars Program's main focus is to ignite a spirit of civic engagement and prepare in its members and prepare them to enter the professional world upon graduation. We envision a future where the next generation leaves their college career with the knowledge, desire, and network to enact innovative change in Hampton Roads.

NOMINATION REQUIRMENTS:
- Freshman, Sophomore or Junior standing for the 2021-2022 academic year
- ODU student OR TCC student from Norfolk or Chesapeake campus
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Ready to commit 4-5 hours to the program per month, from September to April
