Upon receipt of completed application, an interview may be scheduled. This time will be used to discuss your interests, skills, and preferences. Not all candidates will be accepted into the program due to the high volume of applicants. If selected, you will be given an orientation to the museum and its grounds. For the safety of children visiting our museum, we require a CORI/SORI check for all staff and volunteers.

I understand that inherent risks may be associated with volunteer activities, and I will not hold the EcoTarium accountable or liable for any injuries that result from time spent volunteering, or that arise due to any underlying physical condition. I understand that I am applying for the position of unpaid volunteer at the EcoTarium. I certify that the information on this application is true, complete and correct.

I authorize the EcoTarium to investigate my past employment, education and activities and I release from all liability all persons, companies and corporations supplying such information. I understand that false answers, statements or significant omissions made by me on this form shall be sufficient cause for denial or dismissal from the EcoTarium’s Volunteer Program.
