Cat Sitting Checklist

Please use the following checklist below to help you stay on track with everything you have to complete during an assigned cat drop in/visit!! Clients appreciate you taking care of all necessary items!

Pay attention to client's exact needs. May have to use in combo with other service checklists!

Soon as you arrive...

Open up Precise Petcare > My Schedule > locate service box > click "Arrived".

Double check service duration (Quick, Standard, Long, Overnight) to make sure you stay for specified time.

Review any service box notes left by client and/or management.

Click on client's underlined name and review and familiarize yourself with their personal and pet profiles. Even if you're already familiar, client may still have made changes!

Approach house/door and secure key from client's lockbox (code under Home Access in client's profile).

Enter client's home carefully - cats can be quite the escape artists!

During Service (check for handwritten notes anywhere on counters, tables, etc!)

Remove shoes or wipe feet good!

Locate cat and greet them and/or begin care duties.

Next: Either feeding, treats (client's ONLY), giving medication, or litter box cleaning! Check client/pet notes in Precise Petcare to learn more. Use our Google Sites to help you!

Complete any and all specified house duties (see client's profile): MAIL, PLANTS, LIGHTS, BLINDS

ALWAYS check and refresh water bowl.

Take pics for journal. Try to refrain from taking pics of hiding cats. Instead, take pics of food/water bowl, clean litter box, and/or other duties completed!

Check general area for any pet messes and clean accordingly (cleaning supplies location in client's personal profile notes)

Before leaving...

Is house comfortable for cat (temperature-wise, lighting, radio, etc)?

Is house door locked, and key back in lockbox with combo jumbled up?

Complete & send journal report with pictures/comments. See "Journal Reports" article in Google Sites for help!

Hit "Complete" on the service box.
