Our team will be hosting a Call to Action event to support @uwblm's demands. The event will take place this Thursday from 7-8pm via Zoom. The purpose of this event is to create a productive space where attendees can partake in activism by demanding social and political change through the means of emailing, calling, and petition signing. We urge our community to attend this event as these are demands that are within the UW, a school that many of us are familiar with. As students, it is our duty to ensure our school holds accountability  and implement necessary actions moving forward. Some of the demands consists of breaking all ties with SPD, allocate funds to Black RSO's, hire more Black Faculty, etc. Please register in order to participate! The Zoom link will be e-mailed to you the day of the event.
