Join our Youth Activist Network (YAN) to be one of over 100 youth activists aged 14-24 who receive training, support, and stipends to organize for bodily autonomy, reproductive justice, and sexual health & rights in your community! Those accepted will receive in-depth training at our all-expenses-paid Youth Activist Institute in Washington D.C. from Thursday, September 5th - Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Each council works on different issue areas related to young people’s reproductive and sexual health. For example, YAN members have used our training and resources to bring gender-neutral housing to their campus, pass state legislation expanding abortion access, urge their campuses to adopt better policies to combat sexual assault, advocate for better HIV policies in their cities, educate their communities about LGBTQ Muslims, and so much more.

Those accepted into our program are expected to attend the Youth Activist Institute in-person this September in Washington DC, and participation is mandatory for all YAN members. In the instance you are not comfortable traveling because of COVID-19, there will be a limited hybrid option for participants (see section "COVID-19 Safety").

Youth Activist Alliances are youth-led local or state-level grassroots organizations working towards youth sexual health and rights and reproductive justice. By becoming a member, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for a local campaign for change, be supported by our Alliance leaders in your organizing, and join a powerful base of young activists in your state committed to the movement for reproductive justice.
