Do you want to explore beautiful historical capital of Czech Silesia, or visit a stunning castle which was admired by Beethoven? Come with us on a trip to Opava and Hradec nad Moravicí.

This trip is mostly for sightseeing but first we will need to get up a small hill to get to the castle. Don´t worry, it is not at all difficult walk and just around 1,5km long. The castle has beautiful gardens and fairy tale atmosphere. You can even go on the exposition called: “Exposition of mysterious creatures in the cellars of the White Tower.“
From there we will continue to Opava and go through sights in and near the city centre. Then you will have a chance to visit the oldest museum in Czech Republic or just rest in one of the parks or pubs.

👉What to bring with you: CZK in cash, student card (ISIC), snack, drinks, tickets for public transport in Ostrava (We are not responsible for it, so buy it in advance if you do not have a long-time ticket)

In case you cannot participate let us know so we can take someone else with us.

You need to pay 2x 15 CZK for train tickets.
If you are above 26 years old or do not have ISIC card, you will need to pay for adult tickets which are more expensive.
Those you can pay during office hours at ESN office.
(You can also visit castle tower and the exposition, but it is optional, and you will have to pay by yourself (40 CZK with ISIC card or 60 CZK without. The museum is also optional, and it is for free till the end of October.)
