Location: Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island campuses, OLLI classrooms
Description: Assist OLLI staff and volunteers on site with implementing a hybrid class. Duties include, managing Zoom wait room and chat. Incorporating Zoom questions and comments from chat with in-person questions in a timely manner. Making sure both Zoom and In-Person audience has a quality experience.
Impact of Role: Assist OLLI in implementing quality hybrid courses
Time commitment: Each class requires 2.5 – 3.5 hours, you determine how many classes a term you host. Volunteer must be physically in the classroom. OLLI will supply computer.
Qualifications: Comfortable with technology, specifically Zoom. Ability to moderate questions and comments from chat. Work with OLLI staff to troubleshoot any technology hiccups.
Training opportunity: OLLI staff will provide training and will be available throughout class if needed.
