Thank you so much for your interest in joining the project. I've been overwhelmed with the amount of responses and can confirm Dublin's Got Damp! We have reached our dehumidifier give away limit. However, if you wish to be put on waiting list should something open up please fill in the form.

If you live in Dublin based accommodation with damp issues I'd love to hear from you. My name is Avril Corroon, I'm an artist working on a project called Got Damp about damp in housing. I am looking for a number of participants willing to collect damp from electric dehumidifiers over the upcoming winter and spring.

Participants will receive a free highly rated low running cost dehumidifier and a €100 honorarium. Over the winter and spring period you will be asked to empty the dehumidifier tank into a small 30L barrel provided, which will be collected and replaced when full.

The collected volume of dehumidifier water will be used as part of an art installation along with a film in an exhibition centred around the Housing Crisis at Project Arts Centre in April 2023.

If you are happy to share your damp story by interview and/or have the damp in your home filmed, there is a section below about this too. If you wish to be anonymous, that's no problem.

I will ensure that all your data given as part of this project is secure and confidential.
