Dette er prosedyren hovedstyret i UiSI følger når man behandler et internt varsel:

This is the procedure the board of directors follows when receiving and handling internal
issues:

- Varsleren skal beskyttes mot gjengjeldelse.

- The whistleblower will be protected against retaliation.

- Alle varsler skal tas alvorlig.

- All issues will be taken seriously.

- Mottaker av et varsel skal alltid sørge for en forsvarlig behandling av saken.

- The receiver of the report will ensure sound processing of the case.

- Varslingssakene blir behandlet fortrolig. Fortrolighet betyr i denne sammenheng at varslerens identitet og hvem eller hva varslet angår, ikke gjøres kjent for flere enn det som er nødvendig for den videre behandling av saken. I de fleste sammenhenger vil det holde med et fåtall i hovedstyret som hovedstyret oppnevner til å behandle saken. Hvis varselet gjelder en eller flere i hovedstyret vil disse ikke bli involvert i behandlingen av varselet.

- The reports will be handled with confidentiality. In this context confidentiality means that the whistleblowers identity and content of the report will not be disclosed to more people than necessary. In most circumstances a few board members will be appointed to handle a case, which the board of directors appoint to process the case. If the issue involves one or more board members these will not be included in the handling of the report.

- Den som varsler skal få en bekreftelse på at varselet er mottatt; videre få informasjon om utfallet og prosedyre for saken, med mindre varsleren velger å være anonym.

- Unless he/they/she has chosen to stay anonymous, the whistle-blower will get a conformation when the report has been received as well as information regarding the outcome and case procedure.

- Hvis varselet er av en alvorlighetsgrad som ikke kan la seg vente anbefaler hovedstyret å ta kontakt direkte med politiet eller NIF sitt eget varslingssystem som er lenket til på hjemmesiden vår.

- If the report is of a seriousness that cannot wait the board of diretcors recommend to contact the police or use The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF) channel that is directed in our home page.
