The Austin area has long been one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country. What most people don’t know is that while our overall population grew nearly 40% between 2000 and 2010, the number of us over the age of 55 grew by 80%. Today, the Austin area has the nation’s fastest-growing population of people between 55 and 64, and the second fastest-growing population of people 65 and over. And many of these newcomers are looking for work.

AustinUP, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is hosting a series of job fairs in 2019 to match available job opportunities with workers who are 50+. Information about our September 10 event:

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Note: All exhibits must be set up and ready for attendees no later than 9:30 a.m.  We will provide one table and two chairs per exhibitor. If you will need table linens and/or access to electricity, please add a note to the Special Requests section of this form.
