This summer we are hiring for in-person teens between 14 and 19 years old. We have 3 teen job positions available:
CITs, JCITS, and Teen Organizers
CITs work as tutors, mentors, and role models for younger students. Teen staff receive ongoing job training, professional development, and supervision. This job is ideal for teens who are passionate about working with young people. This position is for 25 hours per week at $ 15/hr. Applicants must be available to work June 27th-August 9th
Teen Organizers will work together to make the changes they want to see in their schools and neighborhoods. Teen Organizers will build YOUTH POWER. This job is ideal for teens who are passionate about social change and justice and want to learn more about the fundamentals of community organizing. This position is for 25 hours per week at $ 15/hr. Applicants must be available to work June 27th-August 9th.
JCIT program is a stipend internship program ideal for 14-year-olds or students who will be starting 9th grade in the fall of 2024. This is a transitional program to support graduating 8th graders preparing to enter High School and gain some hands-on experience. Applicants must be available to work June 27th- August 9th.
