1. Draft Strategies to equitably decarbonize existing residential buildings and Potential Actions to support the Strategies have been developed, and were reviewed during a Zoom meeting on June 2. If you have additional feedback, please share below.

Potential Actions support four Strategies: 1) Decarbonization of privately-owned housing and protection of communities of color and low-income residents; 2) Decarbonization of deed-restricted affordable housing, protection of communities of color and low-income residents, and preservation of affordable units; 3) Plan for the equitable decarbonization of energy distribution infrastructure; 4) Increase opportunities for disadvantaged workers and Minority, Women, and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (MWDVBEs) by extending workforce development programs to building decarbonization.
