Watertown Community Gardens - Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement

Note: We ask that all volunteers sign this release agreement once per calendar year.

Awareness of Risk:

 I understand that my participation has the inherent risk of death or injury to myself, and of damage to my property, and I assume full responsibility. These risks may result not only from my own actions or inactions, but also from the actions or inactions of other gardeners. These risks may also arise from various factors including but not limited to the condition of the land where the garden is located, or the equipment and tools available at the garden.

Indemnification:

I will indemnify and hold harmless the Watertown Community Gardens, their agents and volunteers, and the garden site landowner from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, expenses and attorneys’ fees.

The terms of this agreement shall be binding upon myself, my heirs, assignees, and executors and all members of my family. 

I have carefully read, understand, acknowledge and voluntarily sign this document. *
