Aloha and welcome to Hickam Elementary School! We believe that children succeed in school when parents are involved - we thank you greatly for volunteering! The Parent Communication Network Center (PCNC) is a unique program specifically designed to assist parents to do just that. The PCNC program provides programs and services to meet the needs of our school community as well as the needs of our parents.

PCNC Volunteer: helping out with miscellaneous volunteer jobs & family events throughout the school year
Room Parent: Would assist the teacher with classroom needs and be the poc for classroom activities.
Classroom Helper: class parties, art projects, etc.
Picture Day: assisting teacher, students, and photographers with this event
Cafeteria/Recess Volunteer: Volunteer in the cafeteria at lunchtime. Monitor tables and help students with lunch items. Monitor playgrounds at recess. (this is our greatest need and could be a paid position!!)
Resource Volunteer: Do you have any talents or interests the school could call upon? Willing to volunteer to help facilitate an after-school Club?
Copy Crew! Tuesdays 1pm - 2:10 helping with various projects in the Aloha Transition Center.
At home Volunteer: projects sent home and returned when complete
