Cafeteria Aide
  1. Activities include Many tasks relating to and assisting caferteria personnel.  This requires the student to be responsible and assume a leadership position.  The eligibility requirements listed below must be met and maintained for students to earn and continue enrollment in the class.  Grading will be based on attendance (50%) and work performance (50%), including volume of work, quality of work, cooperation, dependability, courtesy, punctuality, appearance, attitude, initiative and confidentiality.

  4. 2.  Must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
  5. 3.  Must be punctual with good attendance.  Student may be removed from the class for poor attendance.

  7. Students who Fail to maintain the above listed eligibility requirements, or fail to effectively perform their duties, will be removed from the course and placed in an alternative elective class.

Leadership
*  We strive to be the leaders of the school.
*  Responsible for planning dances, putting on fundraisers, serving the community through direct service and charity events, holding pep rallies, and initiating fun school spirit activities.
*   We strive to be cooperative and responsible in the classroom and outside of it. Hence, you are responsible for your behavior and grades in and out of the classroom.
*  We look for students who work weell with others and are open to new academic experiences.

Eligibility Requirements:
1.  Must be in 7th or 8th grade.
2.  Must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
3.  Must be punctual with good attendance.  Student may be removed from the class for poor attendance.
4.  Must have good grades (no D's or F's) and good citizenship (No N's or U's) and a good discipline record in all classes.

Students who Fail to maintain the above listed eligibility requirements, or fail to effectively perform their duties, will be removed from the course and placed in an alternative elective class.


Broadcasting
*  We strive to be the voice of the school.
*  We are responsible for advertising and promoting the activities at O'Callaghan Middle School.  This can be done by communicating through broadcasting the school news.  
*  We strive to be cooperative and responsible in the classroom and outside of it. Hence, you are responsible for your behavior and grades in and out of the classroom.
*  We look for students who work well with others, engage in crative thinking skills and are open to new experiences.

* This class will advance students coding skills and introduce them to new coding languages.
