Dear student,

The SABES Math Center is creating a math unit for adults about “being your own boss.” The unit will feature the stories of real students and their working experiences. We are looking students who are working for themselves in a variety of ways (part-time or full-time).

For example, we're looking for people who:
•        earn money providing services through on-demand apps (such as driving for Uber)
•        regularly perform odd jobs
•        sell things online
•        are self-employed (for example, providing house-cleaning or handyman services)
•        own a business
•        do other freelance/contract work

We will select 3 students to be interviewed. Because the interviews will be video-recorded (on Zoom or in person), you will not be anonymous and must be comfortable giving permission for us to use the recordings. If you are selected, you will receive a $25 check or e-gift card.
