The AMC 8 exam is a competition put on by the Mathematical Association of America. It is a 25 question, 40 minute multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics. Calculators are not allowed.

The BYU Math Department will facilitate the administration of the exam on January 24, 2022 and registration for the exam ends on December 4, 2021. You may still register after that date, but you will then need to contact the events coordinator (see below) to determine whether we have enough exams for you.

On the day of the exam, please arrive at or before 4:30, so we can begin the exam promptly. The exact location will be announced later.
