Float Regulations:
Each float must be able to proceed under its own power to all designated areas.

Floats should demonstrate Rebel Spirit!

The organization name must appear on the float.

Those borrowing carts from a UNLV department must only use blue tape or non-adhesive items (i.e. string or zip ties) to attach items to the golf cart.

No use of paint, glitter or glue directly on the golf carts (can be used on banners that are then attached to golf carts)

Floats should incorporate the use of lights - as it will be dark when the parade begins. THE MORE LIGHTS THE BETTER!! Think glow sticks and holiday lights.

Floats and materials attached must not exceed the maximum size requirements as follows (*subject to change at Homecoming committees discretion for safety):
                 - Maximum Length:  9 feet (Cart is approx 8 feet x 11 inches)
                         - Maximum Width:  4 feet (Cart is approx 3 feet x 9 inches)
                 - Maximum Height: 6 feet (Cart is approx 5 feet x 8 inches)

Floats should be double-sided (i.e., able to be viewed from both sides during the parade). Judges and spectators will be on both sides of the parade on the Academic Mall.

All float details must be finished by the start of the judging at 6:15 pm.
