Sports Festivals - Year 2

Dear Parents/Carers

As part of our Physical Education learning all Year 2 children will be attending 2 different Sports Festivals over the academic year where they will be taking part in activities with other children from the area. The children will be travelling by coach.

27/09/23 Orienteering The Amersham School (9.15am - 10.45am)
17/04/24 Athletics The Amersham School (9.15am - 10.45am)

Please could all children come to school on these days wearing their PE kit and plimsolls/trainers and ensure they have a water bottle with them. Depending on the weather, please ensure your child brings a waterproof coat and/or sunhat as well as having suncream applied prior to coming to school.

Please note there is no charge for these trips as the costs are covered by our Government PE grant but we require all parents/carers to consent to their child/ren attending the sports festivals.
