This is the application for our Trauma-sensitive Leadership Coach Certification. There are 12 spaces available for this round and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. We intentionally keep each round small to provide an intimate experience for everyone involved. After we have accepted 12 qualified individuals, there will be a waitlist for the next round.
Our Trauma-Sensitive Leadership Certification is a powerful coaching certification based on the latest cutting-edge leadership coaching and psychological findings. Leaders who complete the program will be confident in promoting employee morale, improving patient, consumer, and client satisfaction, and improving students' educational experience. Leaders will be able to communicate with their teams without fear of re-traumatization.
In addition to receiving a certification from the Global Center for Trauma Education and Training,™ once the program is accepted and accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), you will be certified by the ICF. The ICF is the governing body for the coaching industry. If, for some reason, the program is not accepted by the ICF during the first round, you will be given access to the program at no cost to you once it is accepted.
The certification will include the option to continue as a Master Certified Trauma-sensitive Leadership Coach. The Master's certification provides you with the skills to teach and train other leaders and coaches. The coaching certification is 6-12 months, depending on the certification level. Both certification levels include a supplemental business-building module to help you build a thriving coaching practice.
Our training sessions will be held twice a week on Tuesdays for 90 minutes at 6:00 pm CST/7:00 pm EST/4:00 pm PST and on Fridays, at 12:00 pm CST/1:00 pm EST/10:00 am PST, for 60 minutes. The program is designed to be synchronous (together as a group) and asynchronous (on your own) in case of emergencies or if you have to miss a class.
Tuesdays will include lectures, discussions, and Q&A sessions, while Fridays will consist of peer coaching with feedback. You will receive a complete syllabus two weeks before our first class, but below is a general idea of the program's area of focus.
