AWANA Registration
Dear Parents,

The AWANA start date is September 16th.  This means another great year of AWANA is on its way.

Here at Berean Community Church we offer AWANA for ages 3 through 9th grade.
AWANA is a Bible memorization and discipleship program that is committed to advancing a child's relationship with Christ through God's Word. We encourage you, your children, and children that are within your sphere of influence, to be a part of this rewarding Christian ministry.
 
We ask that you please review the following BCC guidelines for participation in the AWANA program. Some aspects of the program have been updated.


Parental Guidelines:
1. A parent, caregiver, or consenting adult is required to stay on the premises for the duration of the program.
2. BCC offers a weekly Wednesday Bible Study/Prayer Meeting @ 6:30 pm for adults and teens.


Cost:
1. $10 per registered child.
2. Payment is due on the first evening of child participation.
3. Please contact the AWANA director is you are experiencing financial hardship. We don't want your child to
     miss out!
4. Guests of AWANA children may participate in the evening's program for free.
5. Club bags are optional and may be purchased in addition to the $10 per registered child fee.


Child Sickness Guidelines:


Disciplined Discipleship Program
1. Please commit to helping your child through the AWANA book sections and Scripture memorization.
2. AWANA servants are committed to helping you make your child wise unto salvation and seeing them grow to
    love and obey the Lord.
3. AWANA offers weekly opportunities to earn points and awards through physical and spiritual disciplines such
    as: 1)Being on time, 2) bringing your Bible, 3) bringing a friend 4) wearing your AWANA vest or T-Shirt, 5)
    memorizing Bible verses, and 6) completing Handbook assignments.
4. AWANA points are use to shop at the Christmas & Spring stores.
5. The AWANA program offers a special evenings and events of fun. Dates and themes for these special
     evenings and events may be found on the AWANA calendar.

Promoting Unity
1. Students of AWANA are required wear their AWANA vest or T-shirt to each AWANA meeting.
2. New t-shirts or vests may be ordered when a child moves between club groups or if they outgrow their
    shirt.
3. Please be sure to select the appropriate size on the registration form.


Minimizing Distractions
1. Families are encouraged to be on time and have their children signed-in before the start of the program.
2.Children are servants are encouraged not to use personal electronics while participating in the evening's
    program.


Sing-In/Out Procedure
1. Doors to the gym will open at 6:10 p.m.  Check-in time is from 6:10-6:20 p.m.
2. A parent or care-giver must sign-in their child(ren).
3.Please escort your child(ren) to their club group.
4. Your child will stay with their assigned leaders and group through out the evening.
5. Please return to the sanctuary at 7:45p for awards and sign-out.  
6. A child will not be released from their club group without a parent signing them out.

The AWANA nightly schedule is as follows:
6:10 - 6:20   Sanctuary Open for Sign-in
6:20 - 6:35   Announcements, Songs, and Large Group Teaching Time (Catechism)
6:35 - 7:35   Handbook Time and Games
7:35 - 7:45   Awards and Sign-out
