This is an athlete application for the Zone Challenge (formerly ZAM) is being held in San Ramon, California, on Sunday, February 27, 2022

Eligibility: Swimmers need to have a minimum of 3 "B" times from the 2021 - 2024 USA Swimming National Age Group Motivational Times.  Athletes who have swum at a Western Zone Championships or the Pacific Coast All Star meet, regardless of age group at the time, are ineligible.

Selection:  The Zone 3 Challenge team will be comprised of up to 8 girls and 8 boys from four age divisions (8-under, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14). Selection for the team is based on fastest times in Zone Challenge events.

Transportation:  Parents of all athletes are responsible for transporting their athlete(s) to and from San Ramon on Sunday, February 27th.

Location: Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center, Dougherty Valley High School, 10550 Albion Rd, San Ramon, CA 94582.  

Time/Check-In:  Check-in for Zone 3 is at 8:30 a.m. and Meet starts at 10:00 a.m.

Cost: The registration fee for this event is $15.  A check payable to Zone 3 shall be postmarked by Friday, February 4, 2022 and mailed to:

What to Bring:  Athletes will receive a team cap, bag tag, and team sweatshirt.  Athletes will need normal swim meet items (suit, goggles, water bottle, towels etc).
