In 2017, SiMODiSA worked with ANDE to map the entrepreneurship ecosystem in South Africa. The 2017 ecosystem map revealed that there are 142 capacity development providers, with 18% of these being international organizations and 82% being South African organizations.

The map will:
• Give an overview of the total number of organizations (international and local) giving support to South African entrepreneurs and small businesses;
• Give an overview on the total funding providers available
• Categorize (as far as possible) funding, support and capacity building providers according to province, and sector;
• List the funding, support and capacity builders (private and government)
