Sunburnt Arts Ltd invites people who are interested in becoming a member of the new not-for-profit company, that supports and promotes visual and performing arts and the culture of Burning Man to the Australian community, to apply!

Currently, people can apply for one type of membership: Voting Member ($10 per annum membership fee). Once the elected Board is in place, additional membership options may become available.

If you are only interested in Burning Seed news please just sign up for the awesome Flaming Galah to stay in the loop!

The Sunburnt Arts Membership Committee will review applications and provide recommendations to the Board for final approval.

Please read ALL the necessary material before choosing to apply as a member, which can be found at sunburntarts.org.au. Sunburnt Arts Ltd is an Australian company limited by guarantee (CLG). Memberships have eligibility criteria and engender rights and responsibilities under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Company's constitution, that may carry legal consequences including the members' guarantee. Seek independent legal advice if you are unsure about the terms of member obligations in a CLG.

Note – Sunburnt Arts Ltd is a company limited by guarantee (CLG). The guarantee is required by law. If the company ends and cannot pay its debts, each member pays the listed guarantee. Sunburnt Arts Ltd's amount is AU$10.

You cannot be a member of a CLG without agreeing to the guarantee.

The guarantee amount is different from any membership joining fee or annual membership fee that the Company may impose on members.
