We are a crew of hardworking, easy-going beer-lovers who've figured out that volunteering at SIP takes the whole experience to the next level!
SIPtemberfest Volunteer Sign Up is NOW OPEN! JOIN OUR TEAM!See below for details on our shifts. Most shifts are 4 hours and vary from easy to reasonably laborious, but all volunteers get a t-shirt, a food voucher and entrance to SIP (tokens vary - see below,) w/ a souvenir SIP glass!

Volunteer Job DetailsThursday (limited to 4 openings)
- LOAD IN & EVENT SET UP - (laborious) - Meet at Meg's Events - Help transport equipment to venue. Ideally volunteers have a large vehicle we can pack up!
FULL Friday (limited to 4 openings)
- EVENT PREP WORK & SET UP - (easy to somewhat laborious) - Meet at MRG - stuffing glasses with tokens, other prep, remaining fencing and assorted set up.
Saturday- SET UP - (laborious) includes tent set up, moving tables & kegs, hanging signage and more
- FRONT GATE - (easy to somewhat laborious) Set up & ticket check-in - setting up booth, moving things, ticket check in. Ideal volunteers are familiar with Eventbrite ticket sales platform and can put the app on their own device.
- MERCH BOOTH - (easy to somewhat laborious) Retail set up & sales - Includes setting up retail booth, moving things, sales. Ideal volunteers are familiar with Square sales platform and can put the app on their own device.
- GENERAL OPS - (somewhat laborious) Includes assorted labor, problem solving
- BEER POURER - Breaks for brewers, requires attendance at 12pm DLC meeting.
- TAKE DOWN & SWEEP (laborious) Includes moving and lifting, disassembling, 'sweep' of venue and other misc work.
ALMOST FULL Sunday (limited to 4 openings)
- TAKE DOWN & SWEEP (moderately laborious) Includes moving and lifting, disassembling, 'sweep' of venue and other misc work. Volunteers ideally have vehicles we can pack up for transporting things back to Meg's Events.
Volunteer PerksThe State of Vermont prohibits us from distributing more than 10 tokens/person at SIP. If you work shifts that equal more than 10 tokens for your time, we will sub merch like hats & even hoodies to make it up to you.
- Thursday & Sunday Shifts: 10 tokens/glass, food voucher & t-shirt. Pick up at Front Gate on Saturday upon arrival
- Friday Shifts: 5 tokens/glass, food voucher & t-shirt. Pick up at Front Gate on Saturday upon arrival
- Saturday 8am, 10am & 12pm Shifts: 5 tokens/glass, food voucher & t-shirt. Pick up location will vary. Details will be confirmed closer to the event.
- Saturday 3pm Closing Shift: 5 tokens/glass, food voucher & t-shirt AND hat. Pick up at Front Gate upon arrival.
