Flock application
We're happy that you consider being part of the flock!
The following requirements and rules apply. You need to fulfil / agree to all of them in order to be eligible for a position among the owls.

- This hatchery is Discord-based. Applicants must have an active Discord account.
- Your FR account needs to be older than 6 months but you should also be active for a while.
- No pairs with only Basic genes. From our experience even G1s are hard to convey.
- No fodder dragons. If you have even the slightest doubt about a dragon then better don't provide them.
- You need to have a bit of dedication to maintain active and put forth effort to improve.
- Don't be disappointed if a pair you put effort in doesn't get adopted much. Lately the rate of adoptions shrunk a lot and also everyone has a different taste.

Also: This is a group effort. We're a community.
Work together with other flock members and don't just focus on your own part. Try to suggest improvements for other members and Noctua itself. Every member represents the flock.
Help each other out and don't just use the hatchery to robotically drop off dragons. We will take notice if you do so.

As hatchery we provide dragons we like, but also should be aware of what others are currently taking interest to. Interest changes constantly so you should always strife to change, improve and be open for new ideas.

Please mind that the applications will be read by several people. We discuss them together before you get an answer.

1) Your Flight Rising Name is: *
2) You joined Flight Rising: *

Small note for 2.1)
It is important that you are currently active and also for a while. Freshly coming back from a longer hiatus (even if your account is older than required) can also mean that you're not aware of other people's current interest. So before joining right away take some time to observe what changed during your absence and arrange your lair.
2.1) How long have you been playing Flight Rising actively since you joined/after you most recent hiatus? *
3) Do you have Discord? *
Required
How would you rate your knowledge of Flight Rising on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the highest? *
It's about dragons?
I'm very experienced!
5) No fodder. This is a free hatchery, not a fodder/exalt rescue program. We know that this rule is based solely on opinion, so each dragon will be given a grace period of 10 days once entered in the hatchery to be adopted. After this grace period is up, the breeders will hold a collective meeting to discuss whether the dragon should continue being in the hatchery. *

Small note and advice for 6) and 7)
The following part will ask your to pick dragons which you deem suited (6) and unsuited (7) for Noctua.
For both question please keep in mind:
> Pick dragons you hatched yourself at some point
> These dragons don't need to be with you still
> It is better if they were recently hatched
> Dragons that you listed with us as guest should not be used
> Dragons would be judged going by their genes and colors. Not their apparel.

How to start selecting dragons
> Pick dragons from different pairs. Only having one set pair would sort of defying the reason applying to a hatchery at all.
> Have actual, set pairs and don't breed whatever is currently available. Not a ton of course, but a handful are good.
> Although permanent dragons might show your taste as well it would be pointless if you do not plan to provide dragons looking like that.

Examples for suited dragons:
> Kids from pairs that you do plan on putting up if accepted to Noctua are what is best.
> If one of your pairs doesn't have kids to show yet either provide a scry with comment (again with a comment)
> 6 is the minimum but we highly appreciate it if you have a few more to show. Just don't go completely overboard :D You don't need to show every single one so pick the ones you take pride in the most for a first impression.

Examples fur UNsuited dragons:
> Dragons you don't like or find plain ugly
> The ugly ducklings of your lair that you only keep for personal reasons
> Fodders (please pick only one full basic including your progen)
> Kids you adopted from us directly. Unless you created something unique with them.
> If you usually banish everything ugly from your lair per default you may also provide one dragon from the AH that is not at fodder price but where you question why someone would pay so much for it look-wise

All set? Good then show us your taste by providing their IDs, direct links or image links.
6) Select six (or better more) you think are suitable for the hatchery. Enter their IDs, direct links or image links here. *
7) Do the same step again as in 6), but now select three (or more) dragons you would consider unsuitable. *
8) How often do you think you can contribute to the hatchery? *
9) How well do you think you know Noctua and the adoption procedure? *
What procedure?
I repeat them in my sleep
9.1) What does Noctua mean to you? What do you expect/wish to accomplish by joining the flock? *
10) Scenarios around Noctua
As your answers please state what you would write and/or how you would react to the scenario.

@Name = They correctly pinged you
#DragonID = A dragon you currently have up for grabs.
Scenario 10.1) An adoption request: "Hi @Name! I would love to adopt your gorgeous dragon with the ID #DragonID. I plan to use them as a mate for one of mine and will never exalt them! Thanks so much in advance :)" *
Scenario 10.2) A dragon got correctly requested from you and is sitting in the CR. A few days have passed without a reaction from the requester. *
Scenario 10.3) An adoption scenario: One of your dragons was correctly requested in the hatchery. An hour later a good friend of yours asks for the same. This all happens while you were offline. *
Scenario 10.4) An adoption request: @Name #DragonID Name: DoomToaster *
11) (optional) Is there anything you want to add to your application?
Your application will be reviewed and you will get an answer in a private message at FR or in Discord.
You are welcome to join the Discord no matter how the result will be :)
Sometimes Pinguin doesn't get the notification for a new application and only checks this once in two weeks. So if you have the feeling, that it is taking too long without any kind of response please contact Pinguin!

Please don't be disappointed or discouraged if we can't offer place to you. It is nothing personal. You can ask what the reason for the rejection was and are free to try again at a later time. Joining the Discord is a good way to see what can be improved.
Of course you can also ask about our opinion/answers to your application if the answer was positive :D
