The University Life Events Council is a group of students from each school who plan activities that connect students across all Columbia schools. Council events elevate and enhance community building, wellness and inclusion at Columbia.

Sponsored by University Life, the Events Council is a great way for Columbia undergraduate and graduate students to get involved with campus life, meet other students from different schools, and gain valuable leadership experience. Past events have included: Low Lounge, Passport to Columbia, Dinner with Strangers, Low-Lapalooza: Silent Disco, Paint the Night, Day of Service, and film screenings.

The Events Council is currently accepting applications for Inclusion, Service, Film, Major Events, Membership, Administration, Outreach, and Social Chairs on the Events Council Leadership Team - members play a key role in planning and executing university-wide events and programs. Please note that this application is for a position beginning Fall 2022 and continuing through the 2022/23 academic year.
