Healing Spaces Reduced Fee Request

The purpose of the program is to make our psychological services available to those who financially need them, specifically for those who are uninsured, underinsured, and those facing financial hardship.

Your request for reduced fee services is on the basis of an “honor system” relationship between you and Healing Spaces. It is expected that you notify us if your ability to pay more has changed. As you can make incremental increases in the number of your payments, other clients who also have specific financial circumstances may then be able to benefit from the reduced fee position you have made available

While we will do our best to accommodate all, specific requests for reduced fee services will be evaluated based on client needs and the percentage of reduced fee positions that are available at the time of the request. To accommodate requests, services will likely be provided by supervised therapists (e.g., interns). However, many of our licensed clinicians also provide a number of discount services each year. 

Regardless of your financial circumstances, you are entitled to the full benefits of services (e.g., therapy, parent training, assessment). In fact, your clinician will be unaware of your financial agreement, as they do not have access to billing information or billing arrangements. Please note that by law, reduced fees may not be combined with insurance payments or applied to a co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, or out-of-pocket calculation. To seek direct reimbursement through a health insurance policy, you must pay the full fee per session at the time of service.

Typical therapy fees for a 45-minute session ranges from $80-$210. What fee are you currently able to pay? 

Assessments are currently billed at $2800. Reduced fees with an intern typically start at $800, & $1900 with Dr. J. Payments are split in three. What fee are you currently able to pay?
