We designated August 20 - 27 Women’s Equality Week and will be joining with partners from across the state to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.

On August 26th, the Women’s Vote Centennial Commission // 2020 Colorado, History Colorado and community partners will gather for a COVID-conscious rally to commemorate 100 years of the women’s vote, to acknowledge the impact of our voices today, and to boldly look forward to the next 100 years as we continue our journey toward empowerment and equality in voting rights.

As a symbol of the continuation of the journey, we will invite participants to join in a car caravan that will kick off with inspirational words from Women’s Vote Centennial Commission Chair and committee members while we decorate our vehicles, connect to our Bold Women playlists and process past some of Denver’s significant suffrage sites!
