A “Clubperson” Award is presented to the person who has
made the biggest contribution to the club. This would be over and above their
normal role, and would be one easily recognised by other individuals.
Nomination via Google form with the
nominator preparing a nomination narrative around the following criteria and
characteristics.
Criteria and characteristics
of a person that would be suitable for such an award:
Has attended additional patrols,
Additional qualifications during the season
Training and/or other Club duties
Leading and mentoring others,
Being highly visible around other functions/activities
(Nippers) to ensure families feel part of the club
Taking on other leadership roles, e.g., fund raising.
Should embrace all aspects of club life with a similar
profile,
Might also attend Nippers and take a lead mentoring role.
Consistently seeking to improve own skills and knowledge
and to promulgate learning in a manner that results in continuous improvement
in the team’s performance
May also have contributed to a significant event (a
significant rescue could be a contributing factor).
