We are so excited to partner up with Ottawa Farmer's Markets and the Barrhaven BIA to host Barrhaven Harvest Fest featuring local artisans, local farmer's market, food vendors and entertainment. (Please note, this event is not for MLMs or direct sales. Artisans need to have crafted the items they wish to sell).
The market will happen at the Nepean Wood Park and Ride and will have fun for the whole family, over 60 vendors (food and artisans) and will feature/benefit a local charity (tbd)!
Given this is a family friendly event, we are reserving approximately 12 spots for YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS. These are for vendors under the age of 16, and can be any kind of artisan vendor! I am pleased to offer these youth vendors a Vendor Fee of $25, where $5 will be donated to the charity/charities at the event. Youth Entrepreneurs must have an adult present at all times through the event.

When: Sunday Sept 7, 2025 - 10 am to 2 pm (set up will begin at 8 am. All vehicles must be out before 9:40 am. No vendors will be allowed to tear-down before 2 pm).

Insurance: Please note that Vendor insurance is REQUIRED for all vendors. Please provide a certificate insurance upon acceptance (you will need a minimum of $2M in liability insurance). If you don't have insurance, daily insurance can be purchased from Duuo. I will provide a link for our event upon acceptance, and include details needed for the certificates of insurance.
Where: Nepean Wood Park and Ride. 3091 Strandherd Dr. A full event map will be shared prior to the market with assigned spots.
Important:
- Each tent leg must be weighed down to prevent injury. We require four weights (one per leg) that are each at least 40lbs and securely attached to the frame of the tent. (Please note, tents are not mandatory). Tents that are set up and do not meet this requirement will be asked to be taken down to prevent injury to fellow artisans and/or customers.
- Each vendor will be provided with a 10X10 space to set up their tent and products.
- There is no electrical or water access for vendors but there will be bathrooms on site and a water truck brought in.
- There are NO rentals of equipment (such as tents, weights, tables and chairs). Each artisan is responsible for bringing all they need for the event.
Note that the fee for the day is non-refundable. In case of a cancellation, the artisan must notify Locally Crafted Markets as soon as possible. If a replacement vendor can be found a full or partial refund can be awarded. Each case will be treated on an individual basis.
Please note that this is an outdoor event which means it will run RAIN OR SHINE. In the rare occurrence of a thunderstorm (or other threatening weather) during the event, if organizers determine the market to be unsafe, all vendors will be instructed to tear down immediately. In the event of such an unforeseen early market closure, no refunds will be issued.
We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis until all available spots are filled for the event, which has capacity for 50+ artisans. Selected vendors from the first round will receive notifications on February 12 to confirm their participation and secure their spots.
Thank you so much for you interest!
