Survey Introduction, Deadline, & Contact Information

The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a digital library portal for researchers, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory under a NASA grant. The ADS maintains bibliographic collections containing more than 15 million records covering publications in astronomy and astrophysics, physics, and general science. The ADS also provides access to more that 13.3 million external resource records, including data catalogs and data sets hosted by external archives. In addition to maintaining this extensive bibliographic catalog, the ADS tracks citations and usage of its records to provide advanced discovery and evaluation capabilities.

We invite existing ADS users—as well as new or potential users within the broader scientific community—to complete the survey below. Responses provided will aid in the ongoing development of the ADS and ensure we are using the best communication platforms for ongoing community outreach and engagement.

For full consideration, please submit your survey response by 8:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, 14 November 2023.

For questions related to this survey, please contact the ADS Community Outreach Team at scixcommunity@cfa.harvard.edu. For more information about the ADS, please visit us online at https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/.
